Annihilation - Original Prop DNA Swab used by Natalie Portman

Image
($150) This listing is for an original screen-used prop from the film Annihilation . This is a swab used by Natalie Portman to take a DNA sample from the mutated alligator that attacks her crew within the Shimmer. I've attached a few screenshots of the film for reference. Earlier this year, Paramount Pictures auctioned off the major props/costumes from this film. I won this item directly from this auction. It came as part of a set of three swabs. All three are identical, so it's not possible to know which of them was seen on screen. But the seals have been broken on all three, and there are equal signs of water/wear on the labels. So it would appear that Natalie used all three of these, for different takes. The original COA is not included, but I will include a color photocopy of it. US Shipping for this item is $6. International Shipping is $21. Thank you for viewing this listing!   Back to Main Store Page

Jimmy Carter - Signed Bookplate

Image
($125)   This listing is for a bookplate which has been hand-signed by President Jimmy Carter. President Carter signed stacks of these to be given to bookstores during publishing tours. This one is unused, with the original backing. So you can affix it to a book of your choice, or it'd look great matted and framed with a photo. As an added bonus, I had this signature authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services, the most trusted authenticator in the industry. And I paid extra to get a Letter of Authenticity, in order to prevent having a sticker on the item. By default, authentication companies will certify signatures by adding a sticker to the item with a serial number. But I think those stickers look horrible, especially on a white bookplate like this. So I paid extra to get a full LOA instead, with the sticker on the letter rather than the item. The winner will receive the exact items in the photos, so please refer to those for a closer look. US Shipping for this item is $5.

Alejandro Jodorowky - Signed Screenplay

Image
($700) This listing is for a screenplay for Santa Sangre , which has been personally signed by filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky. These signed screenplays were produced exclusively for an IndieGoGo campaign in 2018, created by Mr. Jodorowsky to raise money for his latest film. eBay is full of forged signatures, so this a rare opportunity to get an autograph that you can be certain is genuine. These were produced by Mr. Jodorowsky himself, and every copy was signed. This is a hardcover book that measures roughly 9" x 6". It's never been read. It has a few bumps from shipping, and the cover doesn't close perfectly, as shown in the last photo (it's just the nature of the binding). But overall it's in great shape. The winner will receive the exact item in the photos, so please refer to those for a closer look. US Shipping for this item is $5. International Shipping is $25 (depending on the country, additional Import/VAT fees may be charged by your loca

RMS Titanic - Original Hull Fragments from the Wreck

Image
($1500) This listing is for a display case containing two genuine steel fragments of the RMS Titanic. These pieces were recovered from the wrecksite by RMS Titanic Incorporated, the only company with salvage rights to the ship. The company sold coal from the wreck to fund their expeditions, but never sold pieces of the hull or artifacts from the ship. However, last year Dik Barton decided to sell some pieces from his personal collection. Barton was the Vice President of Operations for RMS Titanic Incorporated, and he was instrumental in recovering artifacts, diving to the wreck 22 times. Two of the most significant pieces of the ship to be recovered were the "Big Piece" of the hull (which tore away when the ship broke apart as it sank), and a Bollard which was knocked loose when the ship hit the ocean floor. When these pieces were brought to the surface and restored, hundreds of small eroded fragments had to be scraped off. This display piece contains one fragment from the B

NASA Glass Film Slides (Richard Underwood Collection)

Image
($25 each)   This listing is for various 70mm glass film slides, which came from the collection of Richard Underwood. Richard had a major role in the photography department at NASA. He personally trained the astronauts on photography techniques, he was the first person to view the photographs taken in space, and he led the team that created the first topographic maps of the Moon. Richard made these slides to be used by astronauts and NASA PR representatives as they gave presentations. Each was made by mounting a 70mm film frame to a blue backing sheet, which was then pressed between two sheets of glass with silver foil tape on the edges to hold the pieces together. Many of them have been hand-annotated as well. These are over 50 years old, so they're no longer in mint condition. Some of the slides have minor cracks/scratches/stains from their years of travel and use. And the film itself has some discoloration with age, as is expected with any photochemical film. Neil Armstrong - "Extravaganza" photo from his private collection

Image
($250) This listing is for an 8x10" photograph from the personal collection of Neil Armstrong (and possibly annotated by Armstrong himself). This photo was taken at the "Apollo 11 Extravaganza" in August 1969, just days after the astronauts left their lunar quarantine. This particular photo shows Flip Wilson during his comedy performance at the event. When I bought this photo, it came as part of a set. When I received them, I found that all of them had been hand-annotated on the back in pencil. To me, the handwriting looks identical to Neil's, so I sent scans of the items to Steve Zarelli, the world's foremost space autograph authenticator. Steve said that the similarities were strong enough to make it a possibility, but I couldn't get a definite confirmation with such limited writing. A few letters/numbers weren't enough to be certain. So unfortunately, getting the handwriting positively matched is not going to be possible. It wil
